Let us first say a big thank you to Jay and his team. Konrad, Peter, David and the rest. We must have said this many times throughout the project, but we can’t overstate how grateful we are to you all.
To turn this house into our dream home involved an extensive internal refurbishment. Moving and removing walls, re-fitting two bathrooms, fitting two new bathrooms, preparing the kitchen area for a dry fit and a full re-work of the electrics – and I’m sure I’ve forgotten something!
From day one when we met Jay it was an absolute pleasure. He came over and we explained all the ideas we had in mind. Straight away his mind set to work, and whilst he talked us through his thinking there was always a “we’ll find a way” attitude. Optimism with honesty. This was a common theme with Jay and his team. Any idea we had along the way was always met with optimism, feedback, suggestions and realism. Jay’s experience also meant the end result was much better after his ideas and recommendations.
Whenever there was a hiccup or an unexpected development, Jay’s commitment and work ethic to solve it was just fantastic. We found that Jay was as emotionally invested as we were in making our vision for a home come true, which meant he always went that extra mile for us.
Last but not least, during the months over which this project was completed we had a lot of fun meeting with Jay and the team. We found them to be very decent people and we look forward to working with them in the future for any other projects.
